Arms & Armor Northern Italian Rapier
Original: Circa 1585
The fully swept hilt consists of three side rings on the foreguard complimented by a four bar inner guard and a faceted barrel-shaped pommel. The wire-bound grip is crowned with braided Turk's heads. The blade is nearly a quarter-inch thick at the hilt and tapers to an authentic point and edge. This piece was custom ordered with a blade four inches longer than typical for this model, with hilt components modified accordingly.
Has a black leather scabbard.
