this is a handmade heater shield, very solid, good weight, it could take a beating. it hasnt though its in great shape.
all black.

i cant remember the makers name. there are links down the bottom to show the other stuff they make.

looks very 13th century with the decorum on the front.
good padding on the back for the arm.
and a medieval buckle hold the arm strap.

the one on the link is selling for 222$

i'll sell this for 100$ plus shipping.

or trade for ARROWS! boots, tunics, pouches. knives or daggers. i could really use some Viking style buckles and belt ends. or roman. anything you think would be a fair trade.

I have a hard leather pouch with a celtic pattern on it, though I doubt it would be a fair trade. I'll look through my collection and see what I have.

Oh, how heavy is this shield? Looks rather weighty, and the handle looks like it's a bit far from the surface of the shield.

the handle is in a really good postion, it may just look off.

the shield is a little heavy for me. but im comparing it to titanium shields i use in the SCA.
