Well my Sovereign from albion arrived.Even after viewing the site, upon opening the box , I had not been ready for what I saw.
A brown accented bronze ,matte,massive,3d pommel, then, the grip. I chose the campaign finish, light brown. It is multitone mostly tan, with areas darkened, as though body oiled, and, places appearing rub worn, yet, all areas seemed equally finnished. This is with triple cording in the center and single cords at both ends shaping the skin. Now obviously I saw the whole sword by now.The blade was , there isn,t a word but, as I look at it now the blade is a dark gray sliding down a grey scale to the steel white gleam at the tip traversed bt the arcing steel gray guard.
At a glance, every part carries it's own wait and mass in harmony with the whole view. It's combination of tones ,textures, and of course, parts, all come together as a unit.
In this instance function follows form. This piece slices and thrusts in a way that it naturally teaches me as I wield it .
Thank you Mike for all your help, and , all at albion, for a great product.
Yeah,I'm happy.

Congratulations and I would be envious also except that I already have one so I know why you are impressed by it.

Derek:
Nice of you to apologize about the spelling but if you go back to your message and " Click " on the small E icon and you can edit your text if you see a typo after you have sent your message: I use this all the time as I usual am blind to my typos before I send.
Oh, and no need to apologize.
Also if you want to try this or other features you are not sure of you can use the Testing zone Forum that is there for this purpose.

ya know, I keep looking at it hanging with my bright knight "rennasaince" and it just don't get any better than this.
This sovereign I don't know , I intend to get many more beautiful swords but I can't see anything that will knock this out of top place. Chad you're right ....WOW!

You mean you aren't holding it in your hand all the time? What's wrong with you?

Congratulations Derek! I think the Sovereign is one of the most beautiful swords out there, I have only seen pictures but it sure does catch my eye, looks like a real beast of a cutter and thruster. One awesome looking short sword!
Happy Collecting,
Bob
