I am selling my officers katana - runs in the family since 1974 was a gift to my grandpa. I do not know whether it is from WWII or wwi as I am fixed on viking and medieval swords.

full length is 102 cm, blade length is 68 cm. steel sheath, decorated with floral brass fittings. brass tsuba with cherry blossom design. the handle is covered with reptile skin and cotton cord.

good state. I can email you pictures if you are interested. IŽll try to answer any question I good as possible, so don't hesitate.

This beauty is looking for a good new home.

Asking 250 $ plus shipping, but no reasonable offer refused.

Jessica-

Posting pictures in this thread would be very helpful, if you have them. I'm sure a lot of us are interested in taking a peek.

Best of luck!

As I got no offers whatsoevver it seems that this sword is meant to stay with me.

If fire does not cure it, a sword will.
