Looking to sell or trade this very interesting set of armour made in the maximilian 16th century style, The whole set when I acquired it had some age to it, it was rusty in places and straps had deteriorated. This leads me to believe the set is late 19th century or early 20th, I had straps replaced and the suit cleaned and polished It has a much better helmet than it initially came with. Bonhams listed and I quote "The Breastplate probably circa 1520" which is far from definitive but interesting nonetheless, It is well made for sure but I can not guarantee its 1520s any more than Bonhams.
