Full item descriptions/pics:
---------------------------------------
Hanwei Tinker Pearce Sharpened Bastard Sword (no fuller)
Retail price at KoA: $232 + shipping.
New condition. Often backordered everywhere.

Purchased from Kult of Athena in 2021, waited months to get it. Selling it to raise funds.

Sword folks know what this is. New condition, no issues.
People new to Euro/medieval swords: this is the standard entry-level but still good quality bastard sword aka hand-and-a-half, aka longsword (on the shorter end of the spectrum).
Pommel nut assembly allows for easy customization.
Factory sharpened.
Kult of Athena stats (appears to be accurate):
Overall Length : 42 3/8''
Blade Length: 33''
Weight: 2 lb 8.5 oz
Edge: Moderately Sharp
Width: 39.7 mm
Thickness: 6 mm - 3.9 mm
Pommel: Nut
P.O.B.: 4 3/4''
Grip Length: 7 1/8''
Blade 5160 High Carbon Steel
Type Bastard Sword
Class Battle Ready
Manufacturer CAS Iberia / Hanwei
Country of Origin China
-------------------------------------------------------

Windlass/MRL De Joinville Sword
Retail price at MRL: $195+ shipping

Like new, unsharpened. Purchased from MRL in 2020. Cool late medieval/renaissance arming sword. Need funds, so paring down my collection.
Sword OAL: 36.25"
in scabbard: 37.75"
Blade: 28.25"
Blade width: 2 and 1/8"
Hilt (guard, grip, pommel): 8"
Grip: 5"
Pommel: 2.5" long x 2.25" wide
Guard: 8 and 3/8" wide
Blade thickness: 3/16" (eyeballed with ruler, no calipers)
POB: approx. 2.5"
Weight: 2 lbs. 12 oz.
in scabbard: 3 lbs. 6 oz.

1065 High Carbon Steel
Peened construction

Interesting spotty 'antique' finish on hilt furniture. I kind of like it.
All metal parts seem lacquered in Windlass mystery sauce, and epoxy stuffed in all the right places.
Pommel is slightly askew (probably from peening), but solid.
Ferrule closest to guard has very slight movement (probably from wood grip shrinking/expanding), but otherwise secure.
All in line with expected 'imperfections' at this price range, and I'm extremely nitpicky.
Almost a small bastard sword. Close POB, fast in hand for its weight.
Reasonably stiff blade (not too whippy)
Cool, handy 'walking around' sword for Ren Faires, Cosplay, etc.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Cheness Limited Edition - 9260 "Kuroha" Spring Steel Ko-Katana
Original retail at Cheness: $220 + shipping.

Purchased directly from Cheness Cutlery in 2020.
From what I’ve read at Sword Buyers Guide, Cheness is in the process of going out of business and selling through all of their remaining stock (one of the sword industry casualties of the COVID-19 pandemic). This particular sword isn’t offered anymore, and no more will ever be made.
Note: I’m more of a Euro sword guy - please pardon my butchering of katana terminology, no disrespect intended.

Condition: used/good. Moderately sharp, as received from Cheness.
Some scratches to the blade finish, cut a few cardboard boxes. Seppa (?) (those little toothed oval discs on either side of the tsuba) compressed and slightly wiggly. Bamboo and brass pins, and the rayskin around the holes scuffed - due to disassembling/reassembling by someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing with katana (me).

Even with all that, the sword is sturdily constructed and functional (i.e. the tsuka won’t fall off). I wouldn't hesitate to do 'backyard cutting' with it in its current state. I'm not an expert, use at your own risk, etc.
This is the most un-rattle-y scabbard/saya I’ve ever seen on a katana type blade. Textured matte finish with semi-gloss speckles. Nice and tacticool, but still kind of traditional.

Description from Cheness:
Constructed of the same material with same treatment as our popular Tenchi series. Slender tip profile without the flairout of the standard Tenchi geometry. Black same wrap, black ito giving it a unique look. With textured round tsuba and saya.
This ko-katana weighs about 2 lbs in hand (unsheathed). Super fast and well-balanced.
Stats from their Tenchi Ko-katana are very similar:
Tenchi Ko Katana - 9260 Fully Functional Sharpened Ko Katana
Blade: Through Hardened 9260 Silicon Alloy Carbon Spring Steel.
Overall Length (+ Saya): 34"
Treatment: Hand Heat Forged, Heat Tempered, Oil Quenched
Finish: Tameshigiri Polish
Blade: 21"
Balance Point: 2" from tsuba
Tsuka/Ho: 10.5" Wood
Tsuka Ito: Black Cotton

Hand-and-a-Half Sword by Paul Chen / Hanwei / CAS Iberia - Disassembled
Purchased new in 2020 from Sword Buyers Guide store.
Original retail at SBG store: $215 + shipping.

Ships DISASSEMBLED
One of the first production sword designs ever to roam the Ren Faires throughout the land . . .
This is the more recent version with steel hilt furniture.
Got this as a nostalgic project piece on SBG's sale a while back.
The tang is surprisingly better than I thought it would be.
I ground off the peen and dinged up the pommel.
You'd have to take down the shoulders or shorten the grip to re-peen (which was my plan).
Another option would be to take the tang up past the ‘choils’, for a very stout short sword.
Fun project piece for a 'barbarian sword', backyard zombie slaying, etc.

Original assembled OAL: 38"
in Scabbard: 41"
Blade tip to shoulders: 27.5"
Hilt (guard, grip, pommel): 10 and 7/8"
Grip: 8.5"
Guard: 6.25" wide
Pommel: 2 and 1/8" diameter
Sword weight: 3 lbs. 4.6 oz.
weight in scabbard: 4 lbs.
POB: @ 3.25"
Blade stock: 3/16" thick
Sharpness: Factory edge, big secondary bevel.
----------------------------------------------------

Cold Steel 'Man At Arms' Hand-and-a-half dismantled blade with scabbard (no hilt).
Price if listed separately: $100

If you're interested in this, you probably know exactly what it is.
Project sword, I had plans to re-hilt, but clearing out and raising funds.
The hilt was next to impossible to remove from this. Ultimately, had to knock the pommel with a mallet about a hundred times - the thread for the pommel nut eventually snapped off. This did nothing to the blade, and barely dented the rest of the tang. I would have no qualms about building a tank out of this sword, and expect it to stand up to ridiculous abuse. Use at your own risk, of course.
Gotta love CS's 'overbuild' approach.
Tip to shoulders: 33"
Remaining tang: 10"
Slightly sharp (CS factory edge), big secondary bevel. Good candidate for appleseed edge.

Printed Armory Zurich cross guard, curved, for Hanwei / Tinker Bastard Sword
Original retail from LG Martial Arts: $48 + shipping.

Purchased from LG Martial Arts in 2021.
Polished mild steel.
Condition: like new, one ‘arm’ is slightly off-center (I received it that way).
Weight: 2.8 oz.
Info from original retailer (edited for clarity):
Here's a chance to create a unique look to your Hanwei Tinker Bastard Sword - Mike Jia from The Printed Armoury presents his latest creation, a mild steel curved guard designed from the ground up to replace the guard on your H/T Bastard sword.
** Disclaimer: the original length of the grip will not fit using these upgraded fittings, which means you will most probably have to get a custom made grip. Also, the fittings themselves may require some file work to fit onto the tang. This is normal since the H/T swords are mass produced and may have slight variances on their tangs. Lastly, the original scabbard will not fit with the new guard - you will either need to modify the scabbard or get a new one made for the sword.

Condition: like new (as I received it). Evidence of small areas of surface pitting and light surface rust.
Info from original retailer (edited for clarity):
