Here is a very rare opportunity to purchase a largely homogenous cuirassier armour which originally came from the Copenhagen war museum, further provenance can be supplied to interested party.

The armour is in great condition for age and has had some restoration over time and recently, there has been work done to the face and visor and the gauntlets have replacement fingers, overall it is a very interesting and pleasing suit, more than likely manufactured in both North Germany and France where a lot of 17th century armour was ordered by Denmark for its roll in the 30 years war.

The original rivets and remains of leatherwork etc have been left on the inside of the armour in order to help tell its story, there are numerous original armourers marks which have been used to help match the lames in order.
