This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available
Folks,
I'm selling an Arms & Armor Bohemian Broadsword that was formerly on long-term loan to the Education Department of the late, lamented Higgins Armory Museum. It was used in some of the first longsword-combat demonstrations that the museum ran, before we switched to A&A Fechtbuch Swords (which went into production not long after we started the longsword demos). It then went into the Education Department's stock of display and demonstration weapons. It's not sharp, of course, as it got used for handing to children. The mounting is tight and solid, and the blade is straight. There are a couple of small nicks on one edge, which could easily be removed and which would not interfere with sharpening it. The sword needs polishing; there is some surface staining on the blade and fittings, although there is no active corrosion or pitting. It has a scabbard, which I believe is from a Valiant Armoury Malatesta, or maybe a Kriegschwert, that I picked up somewhere along the way; it also has a two-point knotted suspension that I added. You can see photos at this Google Drive link.
I'm asking $775 shipped in the U.S.A.; foreign buyers will have to discuss shipping. Sorry, no trades. I accept PayPal (for Goods and Services, please add 3% to cover the fee) or check or money order. Please send me a PM if you're interested.
Best,
Mark Millman

Folks,
