Jason,

How much does your Henry V weigh? Chad Arnow's Collection Gallery on this site says 3.125 pounds. That would be a great deal heavier than the 2 pounds 3 oz reported by Oakeshott in Records/. However, Chad's data are stated as being for A&A's "old version" with solid pommel. Chad's also had brass fittings. I may be blind (my wife often says that I am) but I can't find a weight on the new version at the A&A site.

Thanks,

Steve Grisetti

Unfortunately I'm unable to weigh the sword as I don't have a scale and you are correct A&A doesn't have the weight listed on their website.

It's always hard to tell the weight of a sword just by handling it due to various factors such as POB, distal and profile taper. However, I'm almost positive that the sword weighs more than 2 lbs 3 oz.. I'd also be suprised if the sword weighed more than 3 lbs since it handles so well. Best guess . . . 2 lbs 9oz.

Wish I could be more help

Jason
