Still looking...
Anyone know anyone who could piece it together?
Maybe some one who sells deltins?
The pen is mightier than the sword, especially since it can get past security and be stabbed it into a jugular.
This site would be better if everytime I clicked submit... I got to hear a whip crack!

Why not email Fulvio and see if he can help you? He's a real nice guy and very appreciative of his customers.
I have a feeling Albion bought the last of those blades but you can try.

Well, I've got a Windlass version, but it isn't in good condition. I bought it in 1999, the second sword I ever bought. I think MRL may also have called it the Bosworth Sword. I used it as a stage combat sword and put a few nicks on the blade. The hilt also loosened up a bit, and has an annoying tick-tack, back and forth. Its a rather heavy sword, not really well-balanced. The best you can say about it is that it isn't as bad a sword as it could have been.
I recommend that you get the ADT5156 from Albion. I have one of those as well. Same blade and guard type, but different grip and pommel. It is a much superior sword to the MRL rip-off version. In 1992-1995 I bet they were selling a version actually made by Del Tin. My 1999 version was made by Windlass Steelcrafts and has a big Made in India on the blade.
Edit - I just reread your original post and realize my response wasn't helpful to you at all. Sorry.

Alex, just for information: what you have the picture of is the original Del Tin model 5156, not a Windlass hybrid. The pommel (and grip?) was changed later, and the model number stayed the same. It was, in fact, the first real sword I ever bought, more than 10 years ago.
I still have it. Albion sharpened it for me about 5 years back, and the first time I cut with it the welded tang fell apart and the handle split. Albion then welded on a better tang, and Jason did a new handle for me; it still has the original pommel -- 'faceted plum', I think you might call it. The blade is still sharp, but somewhat rusty. I use it to 'prune' trees in my yard!
I'll reiterate the notion that you might not really want one, even if you could find an original one. For the mid 90s it was very exciting, but this is really a sub-par sword with the current state of the market.

Just noticed your most recent post. You're welcome to mine, if you want to tear it down and cannibalize the hilt, if nothing else. It'd just take enough $ to cover shipping and my time boxing it up and going down to the UPS shop. Send me a PM if you're interested!
