Hello,here is my new migration period sword.It is compilation by customer wishes.Pattern-welded blade with three rods in core and alternated pattern is 75cm long and 5,8 cm wide.Hilt is oak burl and gilded bronze with garnets.Weight of sword is 1130g.Another photos on my web- http://www.robert-moc.sk/pages/gallery/germanska-spatha640.php

Congratulations on an other migration master piece as you know they are my most favourite sword of all
You can only wonder about the craftsmanship that goes in to making of this type of sword and you have done it again.

This is just fantastic. A masterpiece. I really have a hard time understanding how such a thing can be made by a single craftsman. It's stunning.

It's wonderful. Several things really come together. I like the grip and the burl wood especially. Although it isn't based on a single element, everything just works. Well done!

Well done Robert. Your new spatha is gorgeous. I think I see aspects of the Valstenarum sword from Gotland. I am very impressed and as usual, the workmanship is top notch.

Thank to all.Yes,there are aspects from Vallestenarum,Valsgarde8 and Sutton-Hoo swords.Blade thickness is from 5 to 2,5mm,but ballance I don´t know.I forgot to record it and sword is by now with owner.My mistake..Thanks again for kind words.
