Albion Fiore with wire wrap in red. The grip is darker than I would have liked but she is a beauty of a sword. Despite the lightweight looks this sword weighs about 3.5 pounds and truly feels like a sidearm of last resort. Extremely handy in feel, it wants to fight.

I think the disk pommel gets overlooked, people seem to skip to the scent stopper, but I love the utility of a well formed disk. I'd like to see more disk pommels in practice weapons.

Adams, Fiore is a really nice looking sword, I bet the handling is also very good. I have a sword that's very identical to fiore but mine has a pob of 5 and fiore is better balanced.

Thanks, the listed POB on a Fiore is 3.8 inches below the cross but the wire wrap pulls it back to 3.5. Having the weight concentrated at the cross really let's it transition well between strikes. I have an AT1592 Danish style longsword, and it weighs a half pound less and has an 11 inch grip, and the Fiore swings faster and changes direction faster. That really surprised me.

Here is my Albion Gallowglass. It has a green grip, though you wouldn't know that by looking at the photos.

Hey guys,

The Redeemer is meant to be a bastard sword but I think its a good fit. a bit heavy in one hand, but perfect in two. The pommel allows the second hand to fit snug.

Here's my only bastard (to my knowledge): an A&A Custom XVI/XVIa. It was originally intended to be a dedicated single-hand sword but it evolved into something else. Awesome sword, but I'm still not sure if it belongs in my collection.

I am going to echo what Michael said J.D. That is a great looking sword and it is always nice to have something you do not think belongs in your collection. A little deviation never hurt anyone, much!
