Up for sale is a British P1899 Cavalry sword in fantastic condition.
I would like £250 / $428 for the sword but I am also open to trades.
Some info about the sword, very kindly supplied by fellow forumnites: Sword was made in 1901 at Enfield and was inspected by "Inspector 54". The sword most likely went out to a regular cavalry unit before going to the Cambridge University Officer Training Corps. The sword was issued to the OTC in September 1909, which would fit with it having been superseded in front-line use a year earlier by the P1908. The sword includes the original sword knot and leather washer.
