I bought this sword last year and it has only been used for display and a bit of dry handling. Its in mint condition. Here's what I said about it when I first got it:

"Here is my most recent one, from A&A. Its a 'one off', or non-commissioned custom piece.

The sword is an XV, bordering on XVIII. 32" blade, about 2.5 lbs., with a PoB around 4.5". The style is 14-15th century.

Its quite a quick sword, and feels really good in hand. As one can see, its a nasty thruster but has enough heft to it to cut as well. A good all-around side-arm for civilian fencing, finding gaps in armor, or dispatching those pesky peasants as they flee the battlefield.

I really like the visual flow to this sword and the finish is very nice. Its nearly perfect other than a few minute irregularities within the blade slot and some slightly uneven filework on the pommel.

Another terrific sword from A&A!"

I still like it and would say it stands toe-to-toe with the best A&A has to offer in this range of their production line. However, its not a fit with the rest of my crusader-era collection and the time has come to pass it on to someone who might appreciate it even more.

Before putting it up for sale I'd like to hear if anyone has an idea for an interesting trade (in the way of a sword reproduction). It would have to be something of similar level (with perhaps minor financial corrections) from the likes of A&A, Albion, or Ollin, in the 1000-1300 AD era range.

I'm open to suggestion, although I've been thinking about Albion's Knud and Oakeshott lately. Most of my current swords are custom jobs but I also have/ had Albion's Caithness, Vigil, Templar, Tritonia, St. Maurice, A&A St. Maurice and 12th century, and Ollin Hart sword so not interested in those ones.

I would prefer to keep this to North America to avoid complex shipping issues, but won't draw a hard line on this.

Thanks for reading this far!
