I've sadly bowed to the inevitable and am giving up my HEMA ambitions. I'm looking to sell my brand new A&A Fechterspiel and, on the off chance that someone is interested, my Penti III+ synthetic waster as well.

The Fechterspiel is basically new, and is an unpolished training version. It was delivered in late 2012 and has been held and used very lightly - not even for any strikes or parries. I have regularly cleaned and oiled it to protect it from rust, despite its not being used. There are some casting flaws visible on close inspection, and the guard is slightly off center. The Penti III+ has seen some light use for striking but was also never seriously used.

I am looking to sell the fechterspiel for what I bought it for, $430. This was before the latest A&A price increase, and the same training grade A&A Fechterspiel currently goes for $490 plus shipping. The Penti III+ I am looking to get rid of it for about $75. If you're in the tri-state area, I am more than willing to drive to meet you; otherwise, we will have to look at shipping.

Weighed out the fechterspiel since I know the production models have a certain amount of variation. This one is 3 pounds and 2 and 5/8 oz., or about 3.16 pounds, which puts it on the slightly lighter side of A&A's production models.

Pictures attached. I wiped the two swords down briefly but otherwise didn't make any effort to pretty them up before taking the photo.
