This is an unmarked unknown Katzbalger. Perhaps someone might recognize the manufacturer, but I do not.
Overall length is 34 and a half with a 28 inch blade.
Blade is high carbon with a beautiful ring. As you can see the blade is bright, but what probably doesn't show in the pics are various slightly darker grey patina marks mostly toward the hilt. Not very noticeable.
Guard and pommel are a beautiful gun blue/black (black really). The guard is fantastic and detailed. The nicest I have ever seen on a katzbalger.
Grip is suede leather with brass twisted wire and brass collars on the ends.
Weight is around 2 and a half pounds with the POB 6 and a half inches up the blade making this one very much a hacker.
