Bought this to compliment an existing MRL Maintz pattern gladius but the two look too similar on the outside so decided to let it go instead. Its previous owner had modified the blade such that it does not have the ugly ricasso near the guard anymore; I shimmed the scabbard so that the blade sits snuggly when sheathed.
