This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available
I have for sale a backsword with a blade from Baltimore Sword and Knife Company mounted with an English style basket hilt from Scott Wilson at Darkwood Armory. Links to their websites are
I had a few hilts left from Scott after I closed my sword shop. I decided rather than let them set around I would mount them up. I found the great blades from BKS were the perfect match. And this blade has BKS’ added touch of class with file work on the back of the blade near the cross. The blade is sharpened. However I left the back edge unsharpened.
The price of the sword includes any paypal fees and USPS shipping in the US.
I also have several pieces of ray skin that would look good on the handles. I plan to do more that in the future too. The handle has a wood core covered with the ray skin. Now on to the sword;
Stats are;
Overall 37 ½”
Blade 31 ½”
Back Edge 13”
Blade width at cross 1 ¼”
Fuller 17 ¾”
Handle 4 ½”
Cross 6”
Steel Pommel 1 ¾”
Weight 2lb 14oz

Not everything has to be decided at the point of a sword, but somethings can only be decided at the point of a sword.
