This one is a custom project drawing on a less often seen Cluny sword for inspiration. It is not intended to be an exact copy of the sword; the engraving on the original would break my toy fund by themselves. It is intended to be a fine sword fit for at least minor nobility. It is also intended to be period accurate enough to pass muster for reenactment.
The reproduction sword itself has a bold and defined ridge down the blade which is very seldom seen in modern reproductions but does echo the original. This gives it a very distinct appearance. Its grip is dark, to me black, horn. Again, something not that often seen in modern reproductions and something that is very distinct. The gently downward curving guard is faceted with eight sides. Its is very neatly executed. The sword is finished with a fish tail pommel that makes the whole thing very eye catching.
It also comes with a matching wood cored scabbard and suspension. The suspension uses nice buckles and a split belt that should be period appropriate.
This one is not one I planned to let go of but we're moving and my space is changing significantly. The project took over two years to reach completion and it was not cheap to have it done. Photos are attached.
I'm asking $1595 and I will cover shipping in the continental US.
