More paring of my collection. This is a very rare Marto Dybek Viking sword, made around 1990 in a special limited run. The blade appears to be carbon, the grip leather wrapped and with brass tacks. The hilt parts are copper (or copper plated), then verdigrised to a nice blue-green. The blade has been given an antique patina, and also simulated battle damage, such as chunks out of the edge, and slash marks on the blade face. It's really nicely done - looks like a battlefield find. These went for over $600 retail when they were new, and I've never seen another for sale since then. I'm asking a bargain $200 plus shipping. Stats are: length - 37", blade about 28". Grip is 4". Don't know the weight, but it is heavy, meant only to display. Looks awesome - one of the best Dybek replicas ever made, IMO. Thanks for looking!
