Hello,
I've attached below a picture of a Rondel Dagger currently offered by Arma Bohemia that I'm very interested in.
I've been told that this is based on an original extant piece.
Does anyone have any information, or possibly pictures, of the original? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Todd

Todd,
I'd ask them to be sure. Based on the wording on their site, it may be a simplified/altered/amalgamated version of a historical piece. They tend to use the term "exact copy" when they've been pretty faithful to the original. Where they've changed blade a cross-section, some hilt details, or something else they tend to use "copy" rather than "exact copy" in their description.

Hi Chad,
You make an excellent point. I noticed the same thing, and have sent them various e-mails over the last month.
All they were able to tell me is that this dagger was made from a photograph of a copy from a maker in Denmark.
And the maker in Denmark made it based off the original, but they had no further info.
Thanks,
Todd
