I have a 900-layer Forge-Folded Howard Clark Tanto that I am in need to part with. The Hira-zukuri blade is in full polish by Keith Larman, and mounted in an Alder Shira-saya (which includes saya-gaki by Keith). This blade was forged and polished in 2001 (according to the saya-gaki) and is still in pristine condition. The forged, copper habaki is by Howard.

The hamon is a gentle notare, with no turn-back.

Nagasa is just over 10.40 inches in length.

Howard is no longer producing these types of blades (Forge-folded) and they are currently being hoarded by collectors. I have repairs to personal equipment and supplies to buy which is forcing this sale.
Asking price is $2000.

Adam, you may want to reread the original post more carefully, as Jason pointed out that if it did not sell in 2 weeks it would be off of the market. That was months ago.

Still, I too would love to see pics. Wink
