This is an Albion prototype katana made for the Highlander project approximately 2005 but the project was canceled. Only two were ever made. It is made of 1075 steel cut from a blank on Albion's CNC machine on design specifications from the Highlander katana.Jason Dingledine refined the shape and did all the regularizing and heat treating in the traditional way. Shira Saya was made by Mike Virgamamo. This blade was owned by Mike Sigman of Albion and sold to me for an undisclosed amount. I have an Email from Mike Sigman for documentation or you can contact him at Albion customer service for confirmation of the details.
For a collector or someone interested in the Highlander movie or series this is a priceless opportunity to own this blade. As I have several katanas and am interested only in swords for practical cutting purposes and not collecting I am selling this Albion katana. I want to buy the Albion Duke and will use the sale proceeds twoard that end.
The sale price for this blade is $1350.00 with shipping paid CONUS. Money order, or direct deposit preferred but payment terms can be arranged.

This was a project piece for the Highlander series project. Only two were made before the project was canceled. Made by Jason Dingledine at Albion and heat treated by him it is mounted in a shira saya. The katana for sale went to Mike Sigman from whom it was purchased. A copy of an email from Mr. Sigman will be presented along with the katana as evidence of this sword's authenticity. This was a private transaction between Sigman and myself and not Albion.
