This is a very nice customization of the Hanwei Tinker Norman completed by Sonny Suttles at VA. Not sure if many of these got done but when I had this one made I got the impression that there might not be many done. I have not seen any of these come on the market, which says something to me about the work and value.

A little about the the sword itself then. It has a very nice feel. Very user friendly and pretty darn sharp. The handling is on par with the best high end swords of similar design I've played with over the last few years (think of the big American makers). Its very nicely done. I have not cut with this sword or even had it outside but I have no doubt that it will cut very well based on my indoors dry handling. The fit of components very tight and the finish is nicely done. Overall much better than I expected when I bought it.

Scabbard and suspension, all the leather work, is also top notch. Again, better than I expected when I bought it all.

Overall this is a great package that I hate offering up because its also a great value. However, I have a 20 year wedding anniversary coming up, its ski season (I must have more outside toys), and this is the only thing I have that does not fit the15th century:

I am asking $559 for sword, scabbard, and belt and I will cover shipping CONUS.

BTW I'll work on some nice natural light photos in the coming days. Weather has been unusually clear and sunny and this package really deserves quality lighting instead of crappy indoor incandescant light.

No photos yet...weather and work not cooporating.

Instead I'll reduce to $543 shipped CONUS.

Guess it says something when the photos even catch the places where I didn't do a good job of getting the dust off the scabbard! Now some out of the scabbard shots.

Pictures don't do this piece justice. Thanks for terrific communication, perfect packing and prompt shipping. Joe is a pleasure to deal with, as I'm sure regular forumites know, but in case there are those out there who don't, I just wanted confirm my appreciation for a smooth and courteous transaction with Joe.
