I'm looking for really small rriveted rings for a chainmail hood ca 1480. The original is with flat rings and most likely round rivets. I could be wedge rivets too but that case they're very well done. The weave is very tight and there's virtually no gap between the interlocking rings in the peice.
Anyone got any idea where to get some?

Eric,
I've moved this from Marketplace into the Off-Topic Talk forum. You're seeking advice, which is not what the Marketplace is for. By moving it here, you can actually get the advice you're looking for.

Greetings!
At a pinch, you still could make your own rings. The process requires relatively few tools, and most of the work could be done at home. Yes, it is time consuming, and sometimes it might be a bit fustrating, but still a solution to get the rings that you want to. I hope I was able to help.
Good luck!
John

I've been considering making my own rings, but I really don't have time. A friend of min also wants to make a two, finger gauntlet with maille. Wich requires even smaller ones.
