Hi all I have been wondering what a dirk blades crossection looks like?Are thay triangular?if anyone who has one or two can put up some pics taken end on that would be great .

Most dirks with purpose-built blades are described as having a thick triangular or wedge-shaped cross section. This seems to be predominant although there are numerous variations, particularly among those that are (apparently) mounted with cut-down sword blades.
