Hi all I have been wondering what a dirk blades crossection looks like? Are thay triangular?if anyone who has one or two can put up some pics taken end on that would be great .Stick to thy gear, hold fast to thy arms till the stern fight with its weapon glitter be ended.
Most dirks with purpose-built blades are described as having a thick triangular or wedge-shaped cross section. This seems to be predominant although there are numerous variations, particularly among those that are (apparently) mounted with cut-down sword blades.
