This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

First blade is a gladius I purchased from Age of Chivalry.

It is based on an original from the Pompeii site which is currently in Naples, Italy. How accurate it is i cannot say, however it passed inspection for usage for Legio XX so whether a perfect copy or not it is still a nice, useable blade.

The blade is full tang, handforged 5160 steel and measures 20 3/4 inches. The edge is sharpened.

The pommel and crossguard are of ebony wood. If not to your taste it should be easy to remount.

It comes with a black leather wooden scabbard, which while not bad in appearance is really the weakest point of the package. It could really be improved with a nice, veg-tanned hand stitched replacement scabbard with better decorative elements.

Overall length is 28 3/4" and the gladius weighs roughly 2 pounds give or take a couple ounces.

I'm asking $120.00 USD not including shipping costs.

Second gladius is a Deepeeka AH4211 N.

"the blade is near perfect. No ricasso, brass inset into the handle of the pommel. Full tang. Bone handle. Round ball hilt (instead ot the flat disc on the original 4211). Gorgeous red leather covered scabbard with punched brass upper and simple lower! An excellent new sword."1

I'm throwing in a Deepeeka baldric with it included in price.

I'm asking $75.00 USD not including shipping.

1 Taken from the Soul of the Warrior website, where the blade was purchased.
