Perhaps some of you remember the Christian Fletcher/Angus Trim
Baskethilt/Backsword from some time ago ... Well, I am the fortunate
soul who purchased the blade from the honorable Jason Elrod, who
was kind enough to forward the sword to the also honorable Christian
Fletcher, WHOOOOOO provided a custom/historical scabbard for said
beauty ! B-)
So, without delay....

Gorgeous!
I *am* curious as to what the secondary tube of leather is along the scabbard. I've not seen anything like that before.
Bravo!

I believe it's a groove that mirrors the fuller.

Doh!
I see now that it's a depression.
When I first looked at it, it had appeared like there was this additional "tube" of leather running alongside it....
To use the metal loops and scabbard as an illustrative guide (if viewed as a cross section) , what I saw was this:

( ( ) )
..when in reality, it's
(( -- ))
It's weird, I still see it that way, and have to really tell my brain to see the depressions, not a raised loop...
Ignore me, my eyes have lost their mind...
