This listing has been REMOVED and is no longer active
This late medieval rondel dagger was forged by Antoine Marçal, a Canadian knife maker. It is no-frills, no-nonsense piece with a very stout, thick-spined blade.
This is a very nice piece. It has a reasonably sharp edge, but the main focus with this style of weapon is for the thrust. This dagger would do well against mail-covered gaps in plate armour, as it has such a stout blade that it would not bow under the pressure, and would focus all of the energy into the sharp point.
Weight: 12 ounces
Overall length: 16 1/2 inches
Blade length: 12 inches
Blade width: 1 inch at base, tapering to 3/8 inch
Grip length: 4 inches
Guard width: 1 3/4 inches
Point of Balance: 1/2 inch from guard

Edit: Price drop. Asking $225. This includes shipping to the continental US. All other buyers will have to pay shipping themselves.
