Hello All, I am selling a bunch of odd ball stuff to finance a new sword purchase. So here it goes! First is a "Type XIV" but without the fuller. Sword made by John McDonald of W.VA. Blade is oil finished 1095. VERY sharp. Never used. No scabbard. Hilt pieces are steel with hardwood handle. dimensions: blade 24-1/2 x 2-1/2 overall 32 inches. Asking $250.
Next is a bowie knife by the same maker. hilt is bronze with antler handle. blade is 1095. Dimensions: blade is 9 x 2 with overall length of 16 inches. Comes with leather sheath re-inforced with brass sheet. Asking $195. Next is a single edge Viking sword with brass or bronze furniture (not sure which) made by a PA muzzle loading gun maker. Blade is 1095, wooden scabbard and handle are tiger maple with a back sheath mounting. never used. Dimensions are: 28 x 1-1/2 overall length is 33-1/2. Asking $195. next is a modified Gen2 celtic sword. I kept the original brass guard, but put on stacked leather handle with hard wood spherical pommel. The hilt furniture has been epoxied, then screwed down and finally peened over. never used. Dimensions are: blade 23 x 2 (at widest) overall is 30 inches. comes with leather sheath. the old sheath was unusable. Asking $150. Next is a MMHW rondel. 1095 steel. blade is 12 x 1 overall 17-1/2 grips is stag, rondels are brass. comes with leather sheath. Asking $150. next is a custom piece by Beau Hickory in AZ. blade steel is Swedish tool steel. (so is hilt furniture) grip is wood with wire, covered in leather. professionally sharpened. Based on a piece from Osprey's English Archer. Wood scabbard included. never used. dimensions are: blade 27-1/2 x 2 overall length is 33 inches. Asking $250. Last is a small belt knife by ML knives of NY. blade is 1095 with oil finish. handle scales are walnut over white micarta with steel pins. comes with sheath. never used. dimensions blade is 5 x 1-1/4, overall length is 9 inches.
