OK, up for sale is my Albion Talhoffer with handmade scabbard with adjustable belt suspension.
The sword was sharpened with diamond stone and cloth wheel with jeweler's rouge so it is VERY sharp for a Talhoffer, but has a few small buff marks on the blade from sharpening that would not show up in photos. No secondary bevel from sharpening. The grip is what I would describe as a medium burgundy. There is a rub mark on one side of the grip. It is not very noticeable and did not show up in the photos. It is about 1/4 inch in diameter and is on the 'Albion' symbol side.
The scabbard is poplar core and felt lined at the mouth. Hand stiched on back in the 'X' stitch. It was oil stained and is dark mahogany in color. The belt is medium brown and has silver plated bronze buckles (from Raymond's Press) and the silver plating is starting to patina nicely. The chape is small and is bronze and is simple in design. It has a dark patina but can be easily polished if you prefer shiny bronze.
These colors all go very well together in my opinion. This is a very cool setup and has been standing next to my fireplace for the past year and really looks good as a decoration piece. The sword is a tight fit if inserted and then pushed in tightly, so a 9 or 10 year old child would probably not even be physically capable of pulling it out. If the sword is inserted with less force I would describe the fit as snug. The scabbard is nice and thin to match the Talhoffer's look, and has a ridge down the middle to match the Talhoffer's spine. I wore this at a Ren-faire once and received many positive comments from faire goers.
Oh, there are two minor casting flaws on the guard which did not show up in the photos. They are both on the underneath (blade side) of the guard.

PLEASE NOTE: I also have a Brescia up for sale, but I will probably immediately remove and keep whichever sword does not sell first.
