It's really too bad that I'm coming back after so long for this, but that's how the cookie crumbles.
This is my Albion Baron, which has gotten far too little use since moving to an apartment for school.
I'm selling the sword because, firstly, I need the money, but more importantly, because I hate to see it just sitting in my room collecting dust. The plan is that when I'm a salaried individual with a back yard, I'll get back into swords.
The Baron its fair share of targets, from plastic jugs to saplings, to plywood and pumpkins. The surprising thing is, it only took an hour of sanding to get all but a few of the pits out of the finish, and the edge is almost as sharp as when I got the sword three years ago.
Over the next few days, I'll be continuing my work on the finish, and touching up the edge, and working on the ever so slight bend in the last quarter of the blade (as it is, it's almost imperceptible).
It also has a couple of extremely minor casting flaws in the guard and pommel (a 2 mm wide pit at one end of the guard, and a slightly low area on the pommel), which I understand is fairly common with Albions.
I took a couple of pictures in less than optimal light, but they show the sword fairly well.
For those of you not too familiar with the Baron, it's a real monster. It's massive, but quick and responsive. I can use it just fine in one hand (that said, I'm also pretty big), but it excels in two hands. The review of the sword here matches my sentiments exactly.
My asking price is $775 plus shipping (just the UPS/Fedex/USPS fee; the plastic gun case will be on me).
I would generally prefer shipping domestically (and a new Baron would probably be a better deal if you're outside the US).
PM or email me with questions or offers! My email is felixthieme at gmail. (Yep, I really lucked out on that address).
Thanks for looking!

One minor update; I've corrected the bend in the blade, to the point that it's pretty much straight.
If it is still bent at all, it's so little that it's indistinguishable from the subtle changes in straightness caused by the normal flex of the blade under its own weight when held sideways.
