For Sale: Seax / Scramasax. I originally bought this from Viking Shield several years ago. Never used, kept boxed. The maker is Scott Byler. Blade is peened over pommel. Tiger maple grip, brass guard and butt. Blade is 12-1/2 x 1-3/4 (at widest point). No scabbard or sheath. Original edge. Asking $125 with free shipping within the Continental US.

I am interested, can you tell us if this is sharp/blunt etc? Any idea what steel was used?

Steel used is 5160. Blade is sharp
