The lady of the house has decried that my sword collection takes up to much space and either I sell them or she'll throw them in the trash (she'll really do it). So I'm selling the bulk of what I have, Albion Squire Line 15th Cen. Bastard Sword, MRL Damascus Viking Sword, MRL Sword of Arbedo, MRL blade blank( from the Robert the Bruce Sword).

The wrapping around the handle is hemp. I find it helps my grip.

This is not a good sword for any sort of cutting. It bends to much and the hilt is too lose.

I got this with the hilt still on about 5 years ago from a MRL clearance catalog. The hilt was so lose that you could see the cross guard rattle around when shaken. I was thinking of making this a Norman sword but never got around to it. The blade is still quit sturdy.

Is the MRL Viking in excellant condition would you say? No misalignments anywhere.....that sort of thing.
