I bought these two in a local auction. After a deep research I managed to find out they were offered briefly a long time ago by MRL, and actually were ahead of their time. The information had been confirmed with MRL representative and according to him the swords were assembled in-house with blades that were hand forged in France by Franz Lam, now out of business. This is the mark I was trying to identify here on the historical forum. Hilts are in the Spanish style, made of brass with synthetic buffalo horn grips, Blades have diamond cross section with blunt points, edges are semi-sharp - they 'feel' sharp but will not cut. Flexible and return to true like a dream. Mild signs of use, they can be polished away rather easily or be left as is.
Wanted price: $400 for the pair, int'l shipping included. Will consider trades offers.
