Up for sale is my old copy of Bruno Thomas's Arms and Armour of the Western World. It's a large book (12.5" x 11" x 1.25") that shows some of the finest surviving examples of arms and armour still in existence. The photos are very high-quality, printed on glossy paper. Many of the finest are also "tipped in," where the pictures are printed on high-quality paper, and then glued into the book. It's a fairly rare book and filled with fantastic eye candy. Bruno Thomas is one of the lesser-known, but big, giants in the field.
This copy is an ex-library book. The dust jacket has been banged up a bit, but is now protected by a Brodart dust jacket protected from most further harm. It has some rips and tears, shelf wear and a library sticker on the spine. See the pick below. The book itself has a few marks, a card pocket, a folded endpaper, and tape where the dust jacket was taped on and to reinforce the endpapers. The pages with pictures and text appear to be undamaged.
