This makes me so sad.... Anyone who knows this title by Boccia/Coelho knows what a great work it is and how it belongs on the shelf of serious arms and armour enthusiasts. This book, in good condition, is worth every penny of the ~$200+ it usually sells for. This is one copy of a special edition of only 2000 printed.
This copy is not in good condition. In between its last owner (overseas) and me, one corner of the package got significantly wet. The book arrived still wet and beginning to mold. It is dry now and obvious mold has been dealt with to the best of my ability; further treatment may be needed. The dust jacket, front and back boards, and pages are all water damaged to some extent. The text pages on plain paper don't appear to be stuck together, but some of the glossy pages of pics are. They could likely be gently steamed apart and ironed relatively flat by someone with the time to do so (many webpages detail how to fix water damaged books; your mileage may vary).
To comply with forum rules, I'm asking $50 or best offer plus shipping. In all reality, I'll listen to any offer that includes the cost of shipping. This book is sold as-is, but I'm happy to provide a plethora of uncropped, full-res pics via email to anyone interested so they know what they're getting. I'm not posting pics here because they'd have to be reduced in size/resolution and I want interested people to see unedited photos of the item in question.
