This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

1) Polish Ordynka/Tatar saber with scabbard: Jindrich Figura - blunt

I’m selling a beautiful, hand-forged tatar saber by Jindrich Figura of Lightswords, based on the research of Polish Fencer Wojciech Zablocki. Leather grip. Brass pommel cap, unsharpened false edge.

Jindrich has designed this with a blunt edge. I imagine it could be sharpened if you take it to the right person. It’s a very sturdy sword. Jindrich Figura is known for his authentic custom work, especially on Polish and East European sabers. Scabbard has some wear; fittings are fine.

$525.00, scabbard included

SPECIFICATIONS (Ordynka):
- POB 9''
- overall weight with scabbard: 2.7lbs (1248gr)
- overall weight without scabbard: 1.65 lbs (752gr)
- total length: 39''; blade length: 33.5''
- sword length without scabbard: 38.5''
- blade width at ricasso: 1 1/4'' then 1 at the last 3rd
- scabbard is wood cored, leather with brass furniture

2) Antique French Yataghan sword bayonet – exceptional condition

I'm also selling an antique1873 French Yataghan sword bayonet was made for a Chassepot rifle. It is arguably more sword than bayonet. What makes this particular blade rare is its excellent condition. A search on Ebay shows cheaper yataghan bayonets—but they also typically have a lot of rust, pitting, and blemishes.

This Yataghan bayonet w scabbard has a Bright blade; no rust. Its 150-year old age is barely noticeable: There’s a tiny pitting mark at one side of the tip but it’s not very noticeable; about 1mm. There are a couple light surface marks (1-2mm) midway on the blade. Otherwise, the blade is pristine. Please look at photos and close ups for reference!

$250.00 scabbard included

SPECIFICATIONS (Yataghan):
- Serial number on blade matches scabbard
- Total length: 27½ in.
- Blade: 22 5/8 in. slightly curved.
- Engraved on edge of blade: " St. Etienne Février 1873"
- Brass handle and scabbard have number “M 1644”.

The brass handle is likewise bright with no blemishes, in near perfect condition. Scabbard is likewise in fantastic condition. No scratches or rust.

PS: Here's an interesting Matt Easton’s review on these types of weapons:

LA/Southern California would be great if we could do a direct drop off. Buyer pays Paypal fees/shipping. Thanks! Please let me know if you have any questions.

I'm happy to send more photos directly to your email if you are interested
