This listing has been REMOVED and is no longer active
Hello everyone. I recently purchased this from Tim Lison but I'm hoping to commission a piece from Jeff Helmes myself, so I'm putting this out there and seeing if anyone is interested.
I'm trying to turn this around quickly at the moment, so it will be $1800 with free shipping in the CONUS. Pictures can be found at https://imgur.com/a/tyoLvdy. I currently have a few $1k+ items up for sale and if a few of those sell I'll probably bump the price of this back up to $1900 or $2000. It's an incredible blade and I'd rather have two Jeff Helmes pieces than just one, though I'd rather have my own commission than someone elses. There is already information detailing the history of this piece on the forums here, so I won't go too much into that, but it's a single edge Baltic viking era sword.
Measurements are as follows.
Total Length - about 34 1/4" (~87cm)
Blade length - about 28 1/4" (~72cm)
POB - 5 1/8" (~13cm)
COP - 19 3/4" (~50cm)
To date this is the most impressive sword I have ever personally handled, going up against a custom Tinker, multiple Albions, and a few of the cheaper variety such as Windlass.
