This listing has been REMOVED and is no longer active
I am selling my new Gothic Tilting Sallet, made by Kevin Legg (Plessis Armouries).
This sallet is based on the example in the Royal Armouries (sallet IV.15, Austrian 1480).
It is raised from a single piece of steel, no welds. You can see the video of this helmet being made on the Plessis Armoury Facebook page and on YouTube. This is a unique, hand forged piece, with hand forged characteristic and not a machine made look of some helmets.
My head circumference is 58cm, and this would fit 1-2cm either side of this depending on padding. It is a solid, robust helmet, and suitable for reenactment combat.
It is as new, having only been worn for a single training session, with no dents or dings (no contact on the helmet).
£400+p&p (buyer to pay fees if using PayPal)
Please pm me if you require further measurements or photos of specific detail.

Would also consider a trade for a gothic visored sallet. Attachment: 42.31 KB
