Blade length : 48.5 cm or 19.09 inches.
Sori : 1.1 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.80 cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.00 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : the blade is oosuriage mumei regular sized wakizashi and long kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare with thick nioikuchi togari gunome midair mixed.
In Hamon, there are many sunagashi and long attractive Kinsuji work especially Sashiura Monouchi area, long attractive kinsuji.
The blade was made by Satsuma Houki Kamo Masayuki or Motohira.
But unfortunately some person cut the signature and made Hi and made the blade as Koto high ranking sword like Shizu.
If the Jigane is item had, the blade might be changed as Shizu.
The blade is Mumei but the hamon is high ranking sword.
Especially Kinsuji is quite nice. You will be enjoyed the Jigane and Hamon.
Tsuba :On the Mokko style iron Tsuba, a character in a house seems to talk with someone on the shore.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo nanako plate, country scenery is engraved.
Saya : black roar saya.
Menuki : Hotei god is engraved by brass plate.
