Hey guys,

I’m selling a modified Hanwei Tori in good but not mint condition.
Modifications:
- new patterned sageo
- new dark brown leather tsukamaki tightly and evenly wrapped
- shorter hilt (26 cm incl. fuchi and kashira)

As I said before, this Tori is not in mint condition. The blade polish has some scratches, and a few small dents near the habaki. Also there are some very small spots near the habaki that may be microscopic rust or just imperfections from the forging process. The former two faults can be seen on photos, the last is so small that I couldn't get it on camera.

The lacquer on the rattan wrapped around the saya has a small spot where it chipped off.

The blade has been used for cutting, but the edge is perfectly intact.

Considering that the sword is used and modified, and that a new Tori costs around € 1,200.- in Europe, I think a price of € 600.- is fair. You get a perfectly serviceable blade with a few cosmetic issues that do not detract from its usability. Nevertheless, if you have a good argument why the blade should be cheaper, we can always talk.
