This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available
I am paring down my collection, and offering my 18th Century Hanger, made by Richard Muskopf of Missouri. I have used this sword in reenacting for the last two years, and is one of my favorites to wear for French & Indian War/Revolutionary War events, but I have to scale back. It has a hardwood handle (maybe Maple), iron mounts and knucklebow, peened pommel plate with decorative file work, and is lightly antiqued to replicate a sword that has seen some use. It is slightly sharp, but has not been used for cutting. It comes complete with a very nice custom fitted vegetable tanned sheath with iron tip, and matching baldric with iron buckle. Time period would be from early 1700's to about 1800. The overall length is 28", blade is 23", and weight of sword is approx. 1.5 lbs. I am asking $400 plus shipping, but will entertain offers. I take checks, money orders or Paypal. Thanks for looking!
