I've had this for a few days and was considering what I could do with it. However, with two custom projects both being finished this month, I think it is better not to spend extra money on customizing it.

The total length is 37.5 inches, the blade is 31 inches long and has a blade width of 1.5 inches. the sword has no taper. Leather wrap appears to be thin leather over leather cord. It is still very tight and not at all dried out like I thought it was going to be. I think it would make a very nice Migration era sword if someone wanted to rehilt it. I would put the weight at around2.75 to 3 pounds, but not over that.

The blade appears to be one of his earlier chromium blades, it has the visible grain like his newer swords. Some small spots of rust is still stuck inside the grain, so it might need some buffing to remove instead of plain old sandpaper.

The double fullers are finished well, they have a few minor grinding flaws that are perfectly acceptable at this price range. The biggest flaw is that on one side the central ridge was accidentally ground a bit too heavily. It is mainly a cosmetic problem, it is very small and does not effect the swords durability.

I *think* it was called the 14thCentury sword in the old MRL catalogs. If someone has the actual name don't hesitate to share it with us.

I'm asking $175 for it plus shipping, which should be about $10. I mostly removed the rust on the blade and on the cross and pommel. The leather wrap did not need replacing. The sword is not new but still in very good condition considering its age.

I accept Paypal, but would ask that 3% be added to cover Paypal fee. money order works fine too.

How can there be a perfect sword when PEOPLE come in all shapes and sizes too?
