Just want to say I got mine in today and man, it's not nearly as whippy as I thought it would be. In fact it's only slightly more whippy then an Albion Gaddhjalt which is not whippy at all. I guess I got lucky in that respect. The peen is nice and even although it could be ground a little cleaner. The edge from KOA is an apple seed but will do nicely. Now to set about getting that'd damed gloss off and my other customizations. Stay tuned. Winter is coming
Not to question your taste about the finish - its a personal thing - but from my historical readings it seemed like in medieval times, the shinier the better. I don't know if they would have the technology though to make them this glossy?
