Just want to say I got mine in today and man, it's not nearly as whippy as I thought it would be. In fact it's only slightly more whippy then an Albion Gaddhjalt which is not whippy at all. I guess I got lucky in that respect. The peen is nice and even although it could be ground a little cleaner. The edge from KOA is an apple seed but will do nicely. Now to set about getting that'd damed gloss off and my other customizations. Stay tuned. :cool:

Not to question your taste about the finish - its a personal thing - but from my historical readings it seemed like in medieval times, the shinier the better. I don't know if they would have the technology though to make them this glossy?
