I am going to sell my MRL Sword of the First Crusade. I got it from PhilD a few days ago. It's a very well balanced sword. MRL listed weight is 2lb 12oz, but it feels a lot less. Could be the balance that makes it feel lighter, but it doesn't feel almost three pounds. Blade is a slightly flattened diamond cross section, it would be a ferocious cutter if sharpened. Base seems to be the typical 3/16ths of an inch thick with a visible distal taper. Nice temper, good flex with no set.

It almost looks like a Viking Gaddjhalt. I repeened the pommel so it's on there very tight.

A very nice sword. I was planning on using it as a beater for my upcoming movie, but decided against it (it's a bit too nice). Using the money from this to fund costuming.

It had no scabbard, but I fashioned a custom fit suede covered wooden scabbard. Extremely tough, structurally sound scabbard. Red Crucifix is red suede inset.

Looking for $175, free shipping in US. Paypal accepted, but add 3% for Paypal fee.

How can there be a perfect sword when PEOPLE come in all shapes and sizes too?
