The A&A German Bastard Sword (GBS) is a marvelous peice of workmanship and design. Its a weapon I thought would stay in my collection forever. Alas times change, and my loss can be your gain.
New, this sword lists for $595 + $32 SH or $627 out the door from A&A. See link below.
This one is unique to my knowledge in that it has only one side ring instead of two as the standard version does. I ordered it this way because having a relatively flat surface makes display much easier without compromising the aesthetics or performance of the weapon. The sword is just over one years old. It has been well cared for spending most of its time well oiled and stored in a closet with low humidity.
I am asking $525 (check or money order) for this excellent sword and I will pay the shipping (once payment clears) anywhere in the continental US. Please PM or post to thread if interested. Hey Joe,
If I hadn't had to buy a new furnace this year , I'd snap this up. It's definitely one of my favorite A&A swords.
