I have for sale Tinker Pearce sword 2008-010, this is a riding sword of diamond section that Tinker mated with an antique steel hilt for me. This is a lovely sword, very nicely balanced and fast in the hand with excellent point control in a style of an early renaissance riding sword. The hilt is steel, and is probably late 19th early 20th century in the style of the renaissance but could be much older. I simply don't know. What I do know is that the steel has a nice natural patina (we did not do anything to it) and is quite hard, you can not bend any of the cross or knuckle by hand. The matching pommel is a globe cut with spiral grooves and is nice as well. Specifications are as follows

wt 874 g
blade 30.5 inches
total length 37.4 inches
blade width at base 1.5 in
diamond cross section, slight convex curve (Tinker is a master at these type XVs) with a minute secondary bevel right at the edge (very sharp - poker chips my green bamboo)
linear profile taper to 26 inches then strongly curved to the tip (sharp and pointy - be careful with it!)
POB 4.5 inches
Peened tight on pommel end (not a nut)

It has a black leather wrapped grip. Tinker did not sharpen the last inch and half or so of the blade near the hilt so that a finger could be placed over the guard. There is plenty of room for a glove or gauntlet.

Includes the standard, unadorned Tinker/Gus leather sheath.

I think that about covers it but if you have any questions let me know. I am taking a little bit of a hit on this but thats OK as I have another project in the works with Tinker, and hence in need of funds.

I am asking $800 - out the door - including shipping paypal fees etc etc shipped CONUS. If outside US let me know and I will figure out the additional required for customs and int'l shipping etc.

Thanks for looking. TR

Lots of nice swords for sale right now - lowering the price on this beautiful Tinker sword to 750 shipped CONUS and at 1.60 dollars per Euro Eek! I would certainly entertain selling and shipping to europe at slight additional cost depending on where you live. TR

as requested here are some more photos especially of the hilt

its hard to capture just how beautiful this blade is with a camera given Tinker's polish. but in the second photo you can see the reflection of me holding the camera, that is just how nicely polished this piece is. thanks for looking! offers welcome and shipping to europe no problem. tr

Ok, my monthly bump on this one. This is a great fast handling and nimble single hand custom sword at a nice price.
